Black Label Bike Club Oakland Bike Scavenger Hunt
Black Label Bike Club Oakland presents a Bike Scavenger Hunt in Wild, Wild, West Oakland. Small teams of contestants (3-5) will compete to find valuable and worthless items in the Urban Post-Industrial wasteland of West Oakland. Each team will need a guide with first-hand knowledge of local geography and indigenous customs, and a camera to document discoveries that cannot be carried. A panel of celebrity judges will score each teams collected treasures for difficulty, style, and stupidity. Prizes will be awarded for various achievements, including 1st team done and best cheating. Judges will be announced in advance so the bribery can start early.
After party with tall-bike jousting and music at ABCO. Bands/DJs TBA. Cheap drinks and food will be served.
This event is still in planning stages. We are looking for items for prizes, like gift certificates, shwag, bike gear, t-shirts stickers, art, whatever. We also need dj's and bands or other performers.
Also suggestions for search items, anything funny or weird that can be found in West Oakland is good. We're gonna let people use picture phones for some items, so size doesn't really matter, even things like cool buildings or funny signs.
More information coming as its available.

International Love : Coppenhagen, Rio, Poland
I consider SF the epicenter of cycling and that's why I moved here 4 years ago to it. Since then, it's been an absolute thrill meeting people and participating in races. Lately, I've become really interested in world wide events, most notably KLIFGT2011 in Malaysia. One of the blogs I really enjoy following is Flwridr's and he has an influx of videos. Check out these videos and who knows, maybe one day, I'll be in one of them.

Cranksgiving LA
I posted yesterday about Crihs in Cranksgiving NY 2010. I'll be driving down with Anton and Mel and we'll all be participating in Cranksgiving LA 2011. So stoked for this awesome fundraiser as well as being back in LA after 2 weeks. This year's extra special because it'll be the first time Mouse will not be here, rest in peace, so let's make this a good one.
KLIFGT2011 : Rudy Melo Photos
Check out Rudy Melo's tumblr for his flicks from the weekend. If you didn't know, Rudy rides for Leader and one helluva talented rider. He crashed in the rain and he still kept it going. BRUTAL.
KLIFGT2011 : Cycling Malaysia Mag Photos
Cycling Malaysia has a butt load of photos out from KLIFGT2011. SF is out there. Check Colin in his v neck and jeans right behind Rudy Melo. Word from Clary is he got 7th in that race. DAMN.

Daccordi Time Trial Bike
This beautiful monster is owned by Willis Johnson. I had the pleasure of meeting him back during Red Bull weekend although I vaguely remember it. He's got a photo of me pre Benders vomit. Ha!
It's a mix of Shimano 600 and Dura Ace, with Oria tubing. Oria is straight gauged Columbus tubing, but many companies began using it after Fransisco Moser beat the hour record on an Oria tubing bike. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful bike, Wilis!
Check out his page here and some of his other gems like the Landshark pursuit track.
Crihs in Cranksgiving 2010
Cranksgiving 2010 nyc from crihs on Vimeo.
Thanksgiving is a time of year of giving back and one of the best ways to do that is through your local food bank alleycat. The idea is simple; at every checkpoint, there is a grocery list. Pick up the required or recommended amount, and head to the next spot. Usually, there is a speed and cargo category (to make it fair to those carrying hundreds of pounds). SF's got theirs, LA has theirs, and NY has theirs. Check out my good homie, Crihs, at Cranksgiving NY 2010.
Be sure to find your local one and support a good cause.
SSCXWC 2011
SSCXWC 2011 is coming to SF this weekend! One of the most anticipated events of cross all season, it's also one of the most fun to race and watch.
